01Who we are
YardScale (“YardScale,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides marketing services to bathroom remodeling contractors, including on-site video production, ad creative, and paid advertising campaigns that generate appointments with homeowners.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit this website, apply to work with us through our application form (currently hosted at yardscale.io/apply), book or attend a call with us, or otherwise communicate with us (together, the “Services”).
Our website and application are intended for business owners and their teams. If you become a client, our written service agreement may contain additional terms about how we handle data in the course of delivering our services.
02Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details such as your name, email address, phone number, and job title.
- Business details such as your company name, website, service area or metro, the services you offer, approximate annual revenue, team size, and capacity for new work.
- Application and call information such as your answers to our application questions, the time you book, and notes from calls with our team.
- Communications you send us by email, text message, phone, or social media.
Information collected automatically
When you use our website or application pages, we and our service providers may automatically collect technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, links clicked, the referring website, and the date and time of your visit. We collect this through server logs and, where used, cookies, pixels, and similar technologies (see “Cookies and tracking” below).
Information from other sources
We may receive information about you from advertising platforms, scheduling and CRM tools, and publicly available sources (for example, your company’s website or public business listings) to help us evaluate whether your market and business are a fit.
03How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- review your application, check whether your metro is available, and decide whether we can work together;
- schedule, confirm, and follow up on calls and appointments;
- respond to your questions and communicate with you about our Services;
- provide, manage, and improve our Services if you become a client;
- understand how visitors use our website and measure the performance of our own advertising;
- send you updates or marketing communications, where permitted, which you can opt out of at any time;

- comply with legal obligations.
04Calls and text messages
If you give us your phone number and agree to be contacted, YardScale may call or text you about your application, your scheduled call, and our Services, including by automated means. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also email hello@yardscale.io.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that help us deliver messages to you.
07How long we keep information
We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy — for example, while we evaluate your application, for the length of any client relationship, and afterward as needed to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements or to resolve disputes. When we no longer need information, we delete it or de-identify it.
08Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmitting or storing data is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you have reason to believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact us right away.

- Text messages: reply STOP at any time.
- Access, correction, and deletion: you may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it.
Depending on where you live — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other U.S. states with privacy laws — you may have additional rights, such as the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; the right to delete or correct it; the right to opt out of targeted advertising or “sharing” of personal information; and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To make a request, email hello@yardscale.io. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and you may use an authorized agent where the law allows. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision.
